The aim of the subject is to explore some of the basic principles of GSRD (Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity) sensitive social work and services. It should give participants a general view of what it means when a social worker or social service is GSRD sensitive and how to recognize such service. Second part of the course is more focused on the specifics of social work with LGBTIQ people within certain groups of clients, for example: LGBTIQ children and young people, children raised by gay or lesbian couples, LGBTQI substance abusers, LGBTIQ older adults, or transgender clients.
